The plot of Tosca unfolds in Rome in 1800. The singer Floria Tosca loves the painter Maria Cavaradossi, but the prefect of the Roman police, Baron Scarpia, stands in their way. For helping an escaped political prisoner, Cavaradossi is captured and sentenced to death. The price for his life is to be paid by his beloved painter, Tosca. The singer kills Baron Scarpia, but the police chief's revenge reaches his lovers even after his death.
Fragments of the opera "Tosca" will be presented in a special edition, in three acts, by Italian soloists and instrumental ensemble of the Opera da Camera di Roma.
