The eminent bel canto opera composer Vincenzo Bellini also came from Sicily, so the repertoire will feature his most famous arias. There will also be film music, alluding to the artist's not entirely proven contacts with the Sicilian mafia. On stage, opera singers from the Italian association Opera da Camera di Roma, accompanied by a piano trio, will take the audience to the world of refined nineteenth-century concerts, where classical music was for the audiences of the time what pop music is for today.
